Q: What is the refund policy?
- Tours run rain or shine.
- In the case of a snowstorm, you'll be able to exchange for another date.
- Tours are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another date. If you can't make your tour date, give your spot to a friend. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if
the minimum number of people is not met. In the rare event that we cancel the tour, you will receive a full refund, less $5 or have an option to reschedule to a later date, whichever you prefer. Tours run rain
- We understand that emergencies come up. If we have a waiting list, and if we can sell your spot we'll be able to reschedule you for a tour.
- Venues may change weekly.
Q: Do you require a minimum number of reservations to run a tour?
A: Yes. We need at least 8 reservations to run a tour. Since most tours sell out way in advance this is usually not a problem.
Q: Do you run tours in the rain and snow?
A: Since we are
inside for most of the tour we run tours in the rain. In the case of a big snowstorm or hurricane we will call the night before if it is to be canceled. Refunds or rescheduling will be offered. Please be sure to
leave your phone number when purchasing a ticket. Feel free to call 401-934-2149 if you are concerned about the weather.
Q: Is there a waiting list?
A: There is a waiting list for 4
names. However, since we usually sell out, and cancelations are extremely rare, it's unlikely that you will be added to the tour. It's best to purchase tickets for another date.
Q: Do you offer private group tours?
A: Yes. We offer private and custom tours for groups of 12 to 50. Please click on the Private Tours page on the main website then contact Cindy at email@example.com.
Q: Does the tour include lunch?
A: We'll be sampling at
each stop on the tour. Some people want to have lunch after the tour and others are stuffed. There are lots of great restaurants and cafes that we can recommend after the tour.
Q: Should I bring water or something to drink?
A: A bottle of water will be provided.
Q: What if I have a dietary restriction?
A: Since we are
sampling Italian foods, we will be served meats, breads, cookies, nuts, etc. If there is something you can't eat, we suggest you refrain from that sampling.
Q: Who will our tour guide be?
A: Cindy is the guide for all the tours unless there is an emergency.
Q: Can you accommodate people with disabilities?
A: We can. It might be a little challenging for a wheel chair, as some of the areas we go into are narrow.
Q: Will we be able to shop on the tour?
A: There is no shopping on the tour. At the end of the tour you'll receive a gift bag with recipes, a shopping list and coupons.
Q: Are gratuities for the tour guide included in the price?
A: Gratuities are not included in price. Tipping is optional and always appreciated.
